Data Record

Only where necessary, the information we will gather may include: name/ address/ email address/ date of birth/ dietary requirements/ telephone numbers.

Any information gathered will be held securely.

It will be used to help Smitten By Snow to:

process bookings
make website improvements
increase levels of customer service and
add to the quality standard of guests’ holiday experiences

Only where a specific booking request has been made by guests will limited information be passed on to third parties to allow those third parties to provide Services in resort, i.e. limited information to process bookings for: Accommodation/ Tourist Tax/ Catering/ Transport/ Lift Passes/ Equipment Hire/ Ski Lesson etc.

For example, guests over the age of 18 are obliged to pay Tourist Tax. We request date of birth information to calculate the age of guests, but only for those in certain age categories. Only the age range of guests rather than exact date of birth will be passed on.

For each visitor to our website, our web server recognises the IP address of the visitor.

We also note:

information volunteered by the guest, such as site registrations and/or survey information
for purchases: name and address, email, telephone number, payment information (billing address only). We do not store financial payment information in any way. Any such transactions are done remotely from our website on a secure server by a third-party
any comments received from guests in any feedback processes. This may subsequently be quoted in other publications (including our website)
We may use cookies to record session information - such as items that guests add to their shopping cart (lift passes etc)
email addresses of those visitors who choose to opt-in to receive further communications (e.g. special offers, updates on prices etc)

Subject Access Request

You may request from us at any time to:

receive a copy of your personal data that we have on record
amend this data
change the way in which we use this data
opt-out of any email communications you may previously have opted-in to.

We will respond to any such requests promptly, and certainly within the required period of one month.
