Equipment Hire

Once the accommodation booking is confirmed, each individual can log in to the booking via our website and book and manage the Equipment they - or any number of guests - require.

We know of many ski/snowboard hire shops where staff are too busy to wax and edge the equipment - or to replace it when it is past it's useful life. Thus, we have sought a quality ski/snowboard shop in the village, and are happy to be working with Olivier Allemand. As the winner of an Olympic Silver Medal for Moguls, he knows a fair bit about skiing. The equipment is serviced after hire and is replaced regularly.

In addition, SBS have secured for our guests:

• 30% discount from the public price of hire of equipment.  (If you have a better offer, contact us - we aim to match the value of discount Website Prices).
• After fitting, carry your boots, poles and helmets back; and when the shop closes, we can normally arrange to have your skis/ board delivered directly to the ski locker in your apartment  (please remember to leave it unlocked!).
• For those hiring equipment through us, a 10% discount is offered for clothing and equipment, skis and boards, for all purchases over 15 Euros.  Because a personal fitting service is included at no charge, the discount does not extend to ski boots.
• Custom boot-fitting / adjustments available

Equipment Hire Notes

Please note, the presentation of the table below is currently being revised - apologies for any difficulty in locating any rates while that is done. However, be assured that the items and figures are accurate.  When you log-in to your booking online to choose your equipment, only the options appropriate to your age group will be offered.

Prices below include a 30% discount on in-resort public hire prices.  If you have a better offer, contact us - we aim to match the value of any Discount Website price.

• The colour in the description follows the colour code for pistes and reflects the standard of the equipment and it's original purchase price (Blue> Red> Black). Following that, Gold is our top of the range Skis & Boards. Platinum is reserved for premium ski brand Stöckli (€1400/ £1200 retail price). Twin Tip skis area available in all categories.

• If you have a particular model of equipment that you would like, let us know the model and size in advance - we will try and source it and put it aside for your arrival in resort.

• Ski Hire Charges do not include insurance for loss or theft. Normally your travel insurance with Winter Sports cover will include this.  Else, insurance is available in the shop for approx €2 per day (excess charges apply).
